About the Lindsay Davis Memorial Golf Tournament

The Lindsay Davis Memorial Golf Tournament is a celebration of love and life and FUN. The tournament honors the memory of Lindsay Davis, a bright spirit that lived with us for a short time. Lindsay's love was genuine, boundless, vibrant and infectious. If you like to golf, or as Linz was known to do, like to "claim" that you can golf, come join us on 1 August 2015 at the Collindale Golf Course in Fort Collins, Colorado.

 

Our mission

As much as the Lindsay Davis Memorial Golf Tournament is about love and fun, it also has a mission. The proceeds from this tournament will be used to serve the most vulnerable members of our community, children who are at-risk, abused or neglected. The tournament has chosen to partner with the Realities for Children, an organization with 20 years of dedicated service to the community that Lindsay loved. Our goals are the following

• Raise awareness for the needs of at-risk children in our communities
• Raise funds for supplying much needed resources for these children and their families
• Provide a platform for the community to recognize the contributions of local organizations that have embraced this need
• Unite family and friends for a day of good food, awesome music, and great fun

Our attitude

Despite the seriousness of the cause, the tournament is predominantly about uniting friends, making new friends, and having fun. The depth of Lindsay's love for people was boundless. It was a universe onto itself, and whether you had known her for a long time or just met her, you were the stars in that universe. More than any other fact, this tournament embodies her spirit.

So whether you are a great golfer, or like Lindsay, REALLY REALLY persistent, there is a place for you in this tournament. There will be fun hole games. Some will test your skill and some will test your sense of humor. More than anything, we are grateful. The organizers of the tournament wish to express our sincere gratitude to the following
